Hi everyone! Lately, we've seen several people understand that just like microservices need portals for the SDLC - APIs need them too, with about 25% of who we speak to beginning their internal developer portal with an API catalog. Has anyone seen this too? Thoughts about the pros and cons of this approach?

A lot of companies have had API’s of some sort for longer than the current iteration of software catalogs &amp; portals have existed. That being said any complex estate or externally facing API’s benefit massively from a catalog &amp; portal

It’s easy enough to start with that there isn’t much of a downside for greenfield projects honestly
