Hey, can anyone suggest some open-source IDP products? One of my clients needs a solution, but they are not interested in paying for enterprise solutions. They prefer to opt for open-source options.

We are currently developing a platform based on open source, it looks like this, we are in the process of replacing grafana suite for non AGPL alternatives.

If you mean “portal”, Backstage is pretty clearly the most popular UI.

If you mean “platform” there is a lot more to think about and one of the first things to think about is if you need to manage both k8s and non-k8s resources, as well as if you need to manage complex workflows like manual approvals or not. Any key requirements you thinking of?

I would agree with what <@U03JY9VRBK4> mentioned, we used <http://Backstage.io|Backstage.io> as our IDP, and we love the flexibility, community support and the way they have implemented their plugin framework. Would be able to answer questions if needed.
