Hi all, I can’t believe I’ve discovered this twelve-factor app just now. It’s like a perfect textbook for every developer working on application development which runs as a service. Thoughts on this? Are there other similar conventions I am missing or should be aware of?

I really like this concept but there are some controversies related to twelve-factor apps. For example, storing secrets in environment variables is sometimes considered not the most secure (but I still do it).
