opencost “is” free kubecost
my advice: read kubecost docs to deploy it well in your cluster and not duplicate other prometheus metrics

Well, Kubecost and Opencost both has free version available. but opencost has some go feature added.

does it have the same heavy backend storage solution as kubecost had or can it integrate better with existing prometheus infrastructure?
