or do they want a car at all? e.g "the customer doesn't want a better lawn mower, they want grass seed that stops growing at height X" -- i get it, but worth devil's advocating all the things. you've already said the business-facing and developer-facing version of this can be useful in certain contexts, the important thing is prioritizing appropriately and not over-investing in the wrong area. i think we are in agreement πŸ™‚
