Hi all, I've been thinking about doing a webinar on our case study about scaling our IDP beyond a 30,000 users at HSBC and I'm looking to get an idea as to whether to make it leader focused or engineer focused and would love to get some feedback on interest. Please thumbs up for leadership (as this is the leadership channel), down for engineering https://mesoform.com/resources/blog/case-studies/the-building-of-colossus-taking-a-global-financial-giant-s-internal-developer-platform-to-the-next-level

Why not both? Two audiences so two talks. The one given to leaders is focused on value, with a nod towards how, and the one to engineers starts with the value, but then goes into the how

Hi @Leon Rosenshein, I could but I’ve got to create them, so need to prioritise one over the other first.
Thanks, @Piotr Szwed. Looks interesting

In that case you need to figure out your audience. Who do you want/need to talk to first? If you're looking to show that what you're doing works and deserves more corporate support do the leadership one first. If you're looking to spread the knowledge and get more users, do the engineering one first
Always start with why.

Thanks, @Leon Rosenshein. If nothing comes back as a clear demand from my networks, I’ll try to work that out. At the moment, it’s not immediately clear and is why I’m asking.
